Good Meal Time on Earth

This year, the painting competition theme is “Good Mealtime on Earth,” which stands for the United Nations′ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action). The event is to raise public awareness of food issues, and young and adult participants will discuss the topics of recycled tableware and how to support local farmers.

The Wonders of water

The theme of this year′s competition is “The Wonders of Water,” which echoed the United Nations′ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as Clean Water and Sanitation, Climate Action, and Life Below Water (Points 6, 13, and 14 respectively). In addition to the continuation of last year′s topic – ocean, we hope that students can focus on the concept of the water cycle. We should all commit effort to when it comes to climate change.

Our Ocean, Our Future

This year, the theme of the competition is “Our Ocean, Our Future”, echoing Goal 13 and Goal 14 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as ′Climate Action′ and ′ Life Below Water′ and continue to take root in environmental education, and through the works of students, we call on the public to pay attention to the issues of climate change and ocean sustainability.

This year’s Competition theme is “Battle for 2°C”. This reflects our acceptance of the carbon emission reduction objectives of the UN Paris Agreement. We aspire to stimulate society to appreciate the need to protect our planet by beginning with ourselves in our daily lives. We all need to give it our best in all our daily living to contribute what we can to saving the planet.
