Hello kids and children!
This year’s painting competition is honor to invite the famous Taiwanese illustrator, Ms. Chuen-Tz Wang to take the helm of the key visual design.
Ms. Chuen-Tz served as the final judge last year. We are very happy to cooperate with her again this year. The peripheral products for subsequent activities will also be designed by her! Stay tuned!
A graphic and text creator who also does graphic design. Likes to experience the variety of different people and things while traveling, and also likes to roam the world in books through reading. Hopes to create an unique, fantasy-like small universe through the creation of picture books.
Published picture books include 'Where Is Mommy?', 'The Rooftop of the Clouded Leopard', 'Annoying Typhoon', and 'Let's Play Hide-and-Seek', which were shortlisted for international book awards. 'Unexpected' was selected for The BRAW Amazing Bookshelf. Additionally, there are illustrated collections such as 'A Solo Hike: Be Strong', 'What's Your Morning Like?', and 'Exploring Spring in Tottori'.

| "Good Books for Everyone to Read" is a book selection event hosted by the Taipei City Library, New Taipei City Library, Mandarin Daily News, and co-organized by Young Lions Literature and the Children's Literature Society of the Republic of China. It aims to encourage the creation and publication of excellent children's books, provide new information on book publishing, establish an excellent juvenile and children's book evaluation system, promote a reading culture, and build a reading bridge for families, schools, and society to communicate with each other, which has now entered its 32nd year. |
| “The Bologna Ragazzi Awards (BRAW)” was founded in 1966 to reward outstanding children's books and picture books from all over the world. It is an extremely important award in the global children's book industry. 'Unexpected' was selected for The BRAW Amazing Bookshelf in 2023, stood out from more than 4,000 creators around the world and became one of the five selected books in Taiwan. |
