Human-wildlife coexistence is a complex and evolving condition where the needs and interests of both humans and wildlife living close to each other are generally balanced. However, this coexistence may still involve some negative interactions and impacts on both people and wildlife. Achieving coexistence largely depends on humans demonstrating a certain level of tolerance. For thousands of years humans have shared their environment with wildlife.
